Our classic range of ready meals includes your most popular British classics like Deep Dish Lasagne, an Award winning Chilli Con Carne Meatballs, an award winning Lamb Moussaka, Cumberland Sausage with Onion Gravy and Liver & Onions. All of these dishes are available in single and multi portions.
Sous Vide
Sous Vide, the French term for "under vacuum", is a method of cooking that is intended to maintain the integrity of ingredients by heating them for an extended period of time at relatively low temperatures.
Designed to increase tenderness and flavour the food is cooked for a long time, sometimes well over 24 hours. But unlike a slow cooker, sous-vide cooking uses airtight plastic bags placed in hot water well below boiling point (Usually around 60°C = 140°F).
The method is used in a number of top-end restaurants under Thomas Keller, Paul Bocuse, Joel Robuchon and Charlie Trotter and other chefs. We are now equipped and able to offer the ‘Sous Vide’ method of cooking to our customers.
Fish
In today’s environment consumers are choosing a healthier style of eating. Most people are now trying to achieve a balanced diet to improve their way of life.
We’ve seen the demand for fish rocket in the last few years, therefore we have increased in the number dishes we produce containing fish.
Our chef’s have worked hard to develop an eclectic range of fish dishes from around the world. Choose from fishcakes to an award winning King Prawn Red Thai Curry with Kaffir Lime Leaves and Thai Basil, or perhaps our Luxury Fish Pie with Davistow Cornish Cheddar complimenting the trend for provenance.
Poultry
As the UK’s favourite meat we have created fabulous chicken dishes from around the world including British favourites such as Chicken Tikka to authentic Red Thai Chicken Curry with Kaffir Lime Leaves. One of our favourites is the Chicken, Wild Mushroom and Parsley Tagliatelle as well as British classics such as a Country Chicken Casserole.
Beef
We offer a number of slow cooked (sous vide) beef dishes. Many classics can be found on our menu that offer provenance such as Hereford Beef & Ale Stew with Twekesbury Mustard Dumplings to our classic French influenced Beouf Bourginon.
Lamb
Lamb is a favourite on most menus. At KK we aim to offer you dishes that appeal to all tastes, covering all ethnic cuisine from hearty Hunters Lamb Hot Pot to a Thai influenced Lamb Massaman.
